Every Pacific Transcription client is set up with an account on our secure website. You simply login using your unique username and password, and follow the prompts to upload your file/s. Do you have notes or instructions specific to each file? You can add any instructions to each file after you’ve uploaded, by clicking on the NOTES button.

You certainly can use your own template, and we encourage you to do so. Once you’ve logged into your secure client account, simply click on the TEMPLATES tab in the menu list at the top of the screen, to upload your specific template/s. Once you’ve uploaded your template/s, please let us know via the NOTES button, which template you’d like us to use with the audio files.

Yes, we can transcribe tapes, CDs, videos or DVDs you may have. Please email us for more details.

Great. All you need to do now is ensure you have uploaded any templates that you would like us to use. If you have uploaded more than one template, please specify the template that you would like your academic interview/focus group or medical/legal letter transcribed into. We have a Pacific Transcription standard template available, but we are happy to comply with your specific formatting requirements, saving you time on receipt of your document.

For academic transcripts, we can provide documents compatible with qualitative analysis software, such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti and Leximancer. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of one of the compatibility options we offer.

Where possible send us a vocabulary list of frequently used, uncommon words or place names – this helps to ensure you will receive the most accurate transcript possible, particularly if specific jargon or acronyms are used.

Specify your transcription style. Our standard transcription style is intelligent verbatim, as requested by 95% of our clients for ease of readability and analysis. Strict verbatim transcription style is also available upon request (surcharges apply).
