Our highly experienced and trained medical typists transcribe all types of medical content – from complex medicolegal reports and medical conferences, to doctor-dictated reports and medical letters.

The transcribed medical content also goes through a final quality check from our experienced team of medical proof readers to ensure that less checking is required at the clinician’s end.

We can accommodate various levels of outsourcing needs and work with consistent and fluctuating flows of work. Some practitioners outsource all of their dictation to us for transcription, while others use our services as a backup when staff members are away or they require relief from a backlog of dictation.

Are you using medical practice software?  We have the ability to format files that are compatible with many medical practice software programs, and are happy to facilitate specific formatting and stylistic requirements to aid office efficiency at your end.  Please note: We do not import the letters for you.

Once a secure login account has been set up via our online system, clients can upload audio files, templates, and any specific notes that may be necessary, in a secure and efficient online portal. The client portal is accessible from anywhere (where there is an internet connection), allowing you the convenience of uploading from home, at work, or when in transit.

Digital audio recorders are ideal for dictation and make the transcription process much more streamlined than a tape recorder. We recommend either the Olympus or Philips professional digital dictaphones. Alternatively, an iPhone or iPad can be used in conjunction with the Dictate+ professional dictation app, or most SmartPhones in conjunction with an Olympus or Philips dictation app and licence.

A number of our medical practitioners utilise our direct dictation option: the Dictate+ dictation app (for Apple devices only) with a Pacific secure client account, for direct file upload.

Dictate+ – is an iPhone professional dictation app which directly uploads to clients’ secure login, after dictating.  Setting up the app with your secure Pacific client account is easy.
